Your enthusiasm, professionalism, support on behalf of students, parents, teachers, and staff was greatly appreciated! Your humor, ability to motivate people, and love for life was clearly present on a daily basis! We had great talks and laughed a lot during your tenure there!! You live on in our hearts, dear lady!! I am so very sorry for the loss of Sally. It's obvious she was loved, respected, and had a very special side to her. It appears she has left a mark on this earth in her short 45 years that many don't make in a lifetime. The grief must be unbearable but the pride in what she stood for has to be soothing.

With thoughts of peace and courage for Sally's family and friends.

Hey Sally, like most of us I'm sad and very angry. I just cant understand the who, what, when, where and how of this disease. So many of us have friends and families who have fought or who are still fighting these battles. I know one thing. Sally you were very sick on the inside but from the outside you looked as healthy as you ever did. The cancer never took your beauty. I just kept telling myself you look way too healthy for this to take you. I think this is why all of us are taking this so hard. Your monthly updates didn't sound good but whenever we saw you looked like our Sally.
I have one real quick story. I got into Facebook about three years ago. Sally was one of my first friends. For some reason when I log into Facebook from any computer Sally's home page always comes up. I have tried everything to change it. Sally knows it. So, every time I log on I see Sally's famous bicycle cover picture. I'm going to now leave it that way.
I loved talking to you and imitating your accent. You thought I was terrible at it. You used to get so mad at me. I'm grinning and my eyes are watering at the same time.
Miss you lady.
