SAMUEL A. LEISHEAR II

LEISHEAR Dr. SAMUEL A. LEISHEAR, II (Age 98) Dr. Samuel A Leishear II, 98, of Salisbury died March 6th 2013 at the Salisbury Nursing Home, Salisbury Maryland. Born August 21, 1914 in Washington DC, he was the son of the late William W. Leishear and Meda Mitchell Leishear. He is survived by his two sons Samuel A. Leishear III and Gerald W. Leishear. A retired dentist and World War II veteran, who had numerous awards and service while living in the Washington DC area, he had been a resident of the Mallard Landing Community of Salisbury since 2001. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Esther Marie Leishear, who was 92 at her passing, and his sister, Virginia Donaldson, also of Mallard Landing, who was 97 at her passing in December 2012. A private graveside interment ceremony will be followed by reception at the Mallard Landing Retirement Community on South Schumaker Drive at the Commons at 4 p.m. on Wednesday March 20th 2013. . The family requests that no flowers be sent, but that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 112 High St. Salisbury, MD, 21801.
