Sandra Goldstein Obituary

Died on June 22, 2024. Sandra Douglas Goldstein was born March 13, 1941, in New York City, NY, the daughter of Lee and Sabina Douglas, and sister to David (Sanford) Douglas and Barbara Kroiz.

She grew up in Wynnewood, PA, before attending college at Adelphi and then Temple University then obtaining her Master's degree in speech and language pathology.

She was married to Robert Goldstein in 1965, and had two sons (Josh and Mark). She and Robert divorced in 1978.

She built an extraordinary career as a bilingual speech pathologist, one of the only ones serving the Montgomery County public school system. She traveled extensively and presented her work at Oxford University in London.

Following retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a wide circle of friends who she read books with, watched movies with, went to shows and events and dinners with, and who meant the world to her. She also loved traveling to Massachusetts to see her grandchildren in their dance performances

She has left a large and loving family including children and grandchildren (Mark and Summer Goldstein, Josh and Erica Goldstein, Lex and Lindsey Goldstein); a sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Harvey Kroiz; a sister-in-law Donna Douglas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
