SARAH A. BAROODY (Age 93)
On August 26, 2012 in Alexandria, VA. Born on April 12, 1919 in Manchester, NH, she was the wife of Theodore J. Baroody, Sr.; mother of Theodore J. Baroody, Jr., Sarah Baroody (Mrs. Nathan) Tackett and Mary Baroody (Mrs. Jeffrey) Lowe; grandmother of Parker Ryan Lowe and Sarah Elizabeth Lowe; sister of Elsie D. Ashooh; and an aunt and cousin to an abundant number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Trisaghion service at 1 p.m. at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Transfiguration Melkite Greek-Catholic Church, 8501 Lewinsville Rd., McLean, VA 22102 with interment to follow at 2 p.m. at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Holy Transfiguration Melkite Greek-Catholic Church. Flowers, gifts, and a guest register may be found at www.everlyfuneralhomes.com
