SAVANNAH DOYLE SCALES (Age 83)
On Monday, December 25, 2006 at Washington Hospital Center; beloved mother of Bobby Scales (Sylvia) of Houston, TX, Phyllis Royster of Washington, DC, Shirley Epps (Joseph) of New Orleans, LA, John Scales (Juliette) of Atlanta, GA; grandmother of Tara Cryer, Nikki Epps, Kelly Epps, Julie Scales, Brandon Scales and Amber Scales; great-grandmother of Nadia and Joseph Al Zoqari; sister of Elizabeth Gilliam, Arlene Mills, Eddie, Joe and Lewis Doyle. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 7720 Alaska Ave., NW, Washington, DC. Interment Harmony National Memorial. Arrangements by McGUIRE.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. I know how much you are going to miss your mom, grandmother, and great grandmother because she was greatly loved by all. She will be missed and I am so sorry for your loss.
