On Monday, December 25, 2006 at Washington Hospital Center; beloved mother of Bobby Scales (Sylvia) of Houston, TX, Phyllis Royster of Washington, DC, Shirley Epps (Joseph) of New Orleans, LA, John Scales (Juliette) of Atlanta, GA; grandmother of Tara Cryer, Nikki Epps, Kelly Epps, Julie Scales, Brandon Scales and Amber Scales; great-grandmother of Nadia and Joseph Al Zoqari; sister of Elizabeth Gilliam, Arlene Mills, Eddie, Joe and Lewis Doyle. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 7720 Alaska Ave., NW, Washington, DC. Interment Harmony National Memorial. Arrangements by McGUIRE.
