Happy birthday to the one I called "My Jinxed Twin." Birthdays are not the same, since we don't share them the way we used to. I prayed for you and Dad at Mass today, in hope of us communing again on a day that was such an important celebration in our family. Keep watching over Mom, your nieces and nephews, and your son and daughter, like I know you are. Help keep me focused on the things I have to do. I miss you. I love you.
Your little sister, NeCe

We always felt very much part of the Giampa family. Richie was a very dear friend of ours. From the first time we purchased that blue Chevy truck from him over 18 yrs ago started a long friendship. All the joy and laughter you gave us. We never knew when you would show up with some new toy to show us and when we would joke about them. And all the car's never really knew which one you loved the most you just kept getting new ones and passing on the old ones. And when your son was born you were so proud of him. You can't beat the love you have for your Mother, NeCe and brothers. Remembering all the guidance you gave our son's when our head's were turned. We felt very loved and cared for by not only you but your family. Our prayers are with your family, my regret is that we allowed weeds to grow on our pathways.

Rich,
Well it's been over a year since you've been gone, and they say time eases the pain but that hasn't been the case for me.
I MISS YOU SO MUCH Every second of the day.
I think about you Everyday wishing that you were still here.
I miss having my Best Friend with me.
I miss your smile, sense of humor, your picking,I even miss your snoring.
I miss not knowing what our lives would be like right now had we gotten the chance to live together in the house down here.I MISS EVERYTHING.
Madisen is getting big now.
She is almost 3, and acts if she was 6.
She is so Beautiful.
She's very girlie, Very talkative, and she loves shoes (wonder where she gets that from), and if she doesn't like something, she makes it well known.
She is also VERY SMART.
She acts alot like you.
I talk about you to her Everyday, and sometimes when I cry, she will say,"miss daddy" and hug me.
It's really sweet, and I know you'd be proud of her.
I want you to know that I will tell her how much you loved her, and the other things you told me to tell her.
Tyler talks about you alot, he has told me before, "Mommy, Rich was like my dad, and I really miss him being here with us."
You touched the hearts of so many people, and in the 5 years that we were together- you definitely touched mine.
Thank You for Everything baby.
Until we see each other again, "I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!!!!!!".

RICHIE WAS MY FIRST BABY, HE WAS THE PRETTIEST BABY IN THE NURSERY, PEOPLE CAME TO THE NURSERY WINDOW AND POINTED TO HIM SAYING HE WAS THE PRETTIEST BABY, THERE WERE 52 BABIES IN THE NURSERY. Dear Mrs. Giampa,

I wish for you and those who loved him, a time when looking at pictures of Richie and hearing his voice brings comfort and joy to your hearts. I know that there are many of us grateful for the short time we spent with your very precious son. Remembering his laughter and good humor will always bring a smile to my heart.

I hope you don't mind and will allow some of us check in with you from time to time to see how you're doing and get an update on Richie's children. God bless you and your family. Adele

My Presious Baby,

It's June 5, I can't look at your pictures or listen to your voice on the recorder. For now I prefer the haze I'm living in. I talk to Wendy about you almost every night, it's about the same time you would have called me.I love You Precious, Mom

My precious baby,

It seems like it was yesterday that you were born. when you were born you were the light of my life, as were your brother Bill, Michael and sister NeCe. A mother is who I was born to to be, you are still here in your son and daughter. You are a special person, alive in my mind and my heart. I miss your face, your hugs, being with you, and the things we like to do. I know you worried about me and I try not to cry and feel lost, you're with Christ now in a better life. You were so funny singing country songs, letting me listen to your pal talk friend sing. You learned a song in 3rd grade called Sok-eu-ra and sang it, it was terrible but, all the babies loved it. They would stop crying, maybe they were in shock. You were so much bigger than these little things I'm writing about, a room full of books can't say all the wonderful things about you. I'll ask NeCe to put some pictures of you on this site and maybe some of us. I'll try to be happy like you would want me to be, you were always so worried about me. I'll keep lots of your things and one day give them to your kids so they will know your fine taste in quality things, you always wanted the best and wanted me to have the best. You said we were so much alike, we had the same taste. You picked out the tile for the foyer and I wanted to look in the store for myself. I liked what you had already picked out, you said, see I told you. When we were in Warrenton you saw huge rocks in the fields and asked me what they were called. I said, outcroppings, you were a little surprised that I knew. Many times I thought, as smart as you are you thought I was smart, I proud and honored that you thought that of me. I'll try to be happy and help your kids. Death is a door into a new life, I'll see you when it's my turn to be with Christ.

Your Mother, I Love You Always

Until today, I have been beyond words. I have conversed with Richie for years on line. We ran rooms together; he was a great encouragement for my music, and was always a loyal friend to me. I still owed my manager some songs. I wish he were still here so bad. Richie was a great friend to me indeed. I'd have never guessed that it would be too late, so suddenly, to repay all his kindness and help in some way. My deepest sympathies to his children, mother, siblings and other friends for his loss. God bless you my brother from another mother. You touched so many hearts including mine.

Dear Richie, Hi. How is Heaven? I bet you really like it there. You don’t have to worry about your health, and your face always looks slim and even-toned. I still can’t believe you died. You were not supposed to die so young; you were even younger than Dad. I don’t understand why you’re not here anymore, but I wanted to let you know what I am going to miss the most about not having my big brother around. 1. Your Mafioso ways: you were the enforcer whenever something bothered Mom or me, or Billy or Michael. You were Mom’s go-to guy, especially if a problem could be solved over the phone. You were the best talker 2. I’ll miss our conversations about education and England. Because of you I know that the Richmond area has some of the best schools in the state, and I can go to the greatschools website to find out more. 3. I’ll miss sitting by you at Dixie Bones when we’d meet for lunch with Mom and the boys. I was glad to see you, since it meant you were having a good day. 4. I’ll really miss being able to call you late at night because I wondered about something, and I wanted to know if you wondered about it too. You always had an opinion and you gave great advice. I miss your intellect. 5. I’ll miss you singing songs to my sons, “Sakura” for Joey and “Nickel Song” for Michael. You were an entertaining and loving uncle. 6. Lastly, I’ll miss you on our birthday. You told me recently that my being born on your 13th birthday made me seem like a gift to you. In so many ways, you were a gift to all of us. Love, your little sister, NeCe

Hi Richie, I just wanted to say that I miss you greatly. I have always looked up to you and was proud to have you as my older brother. I enjoyed playing with you when we were kids and those wiffle ball games that were treated like the world series by dad. Even after we grew up I always looked to you for answers about tough questions because you were so smart. Even if you didnt have the answer instantly you would find it on the internet. I know your health over the past few years was not great and you did the best you could. I know in my heart that I have always been there for you and will miss you always. I hope everything is fine with dad, buck arris and cleo. Thank you for being a great brother. I will love you always!! You are forever in my heart. Billy
