SHARON DOUCETTE Obituary


Sharon Kay Samson Doucette  
Born in Cumberland, MD on October 4, 1946 and passed on December 27, 2021. Daughter of the late Angelo R. Samson and Katherine V. Samson. She was married to the late Roger Leo Doucette for 43 years. Survived by her children, Katherine Doucette and Andrew Doucette (Renae Stenhouse); grandsons, Sam Doucette and Leo Stenhouse; and great-grandson, Sam Doucette, Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Susie Dinsmore (Bob) and several nieces and nephews. Graduate of Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, MD in 1964. Undergraduate of Frostburg State University in 1968. Master's Degree plus Post graduate work from Kent State University. Graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1982. Practiced law briefly in Ohio, before moving to the DC area where she practiced law until her health declined. Sharon was very active in local and national politics with the Democratic Party.  A service for Sharon will be held at a later date.
