Good Morning Shawn!!! How could a beautiful person leave so soon. I remember when you would come to my house and we would eat crabs and you came to my baby shower (thanks for the gifts again)!!! But God does things for a reason. I cant forget when Deyone and I would go out of town and you would watch our house--THANKS again, Deyone, you, and me were mostly ALWAYS together. Now this summer who can I share my birthday with, it can still be you because you are still here in spirit sometimes I want to call you but i have to remember that your not here. I will always think of the good times we have shared together. Love always

Starling family,
Sorry for your lost, Shawn was a good friend to me. We went to high school together and he was always there to make me laugh even when I didn't feel good. Those happy memories of him will always be in my heart. I was unable to attend the services so I am signing this guest book to express my love to the Starling family.
TO SHAWN:
In many ways, it's as if I last saw you
Recently, the image is so clear--
Even your eyes, hidden behind sunglasses on prom night;
Nor does it take much to restore you
Exactly, as if once again you were here.

Denise,
It is hard to know the right words to say at a time like this. I only hope that you know there are many of us out here that pray the sorrow be lifted and you come through.

To Zenobie:
I was away on military duty and just learned of your loss. Zenobie, as one mother to another, I know there are no words that I could ever express that would fill the void of losing a precious child. But know that I pray for you every day and that in this difficult season you are being carried by the love of those who know and care for you and most of all you are in the arms of Jesus as He carries you in His arms of comfort.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Starling family. Shawn and I as well as my husband went to school together. May God grant you the strength you need to get through this difficult time. He will be truly missed. Do not think of him in death but remember the happy times and the smiles you shared together. May God bless you and continue to watch over you.

To The Starling Family
May it bring comfort to know that others care and share this loss with you.
I can't begin to know the depth of your loss, but please know that my thoughts are with you.
In the days ahead, may you find peace in the warm memories of times past, and comfort in the good wishes of those who love and care for you.
May the love of family and friends bring you comfort in this time of loss.

Denise,
Although i'm lost for words, my faith in God keeps me up. I pray for you, Wink and Star and the rest of the family, that we all will overcome this senseless tradegy. Shawn's everpresent smile will be apart of me eternally.
