SHELVA JEAN PANG "Jeannie"

Shelva Jean "Jeannie" Pang, 81, of Falls Church, passed away on February 1, 2023 from complications from diabetes. Born on April 25, 1941 in Hagerstown, Maryland, to William E. Davis and Elizabeth M. Winters Davis, Jeannie grew up in Front Royal, VA with her 2 sisters and brother. She moved to the big city, where she worked as a secretary at the Pentagon and the CPA firm of Leopold & Linowes. There she met Jen-ming Pang, whom she would eventually marry after failing to convince Clint Eastwood to do so. While raising her two sons, Jeannie proudly earned a degree from George Mason University in English Literature, graduating in 1987. She returned to the workforce as a substitute teacher for Fairfax County. Jeannie was a ruthless rummy player, voracious reader, avid yardsaler, rabid Redskins fan, expert jigsaw puzzler, and had a weakness for begging cocker spaniels. She is survived by her sons Andrew (Nina Deutsch) and Dan (Allison), stepdaughter Wei Kain (Chris), seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services previously held.
