On Wednesday, April 30, 2014 of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late Willard Johnson Adams. Mother of Holly Geddes (Walt), Penny Contner (James), Douglas W. Adams (Kathleen), Stuart R. Adams (Lori), Barbara Taylor (Scott), Philip D. Adams and Judith Adams. Grandmother of Walter, Peter and David Geddes, Brian, Laura and Spencer Adams, Patrick and Ryan McNair, Emily Adams, Allison and Nicholas Taylor and Margaret Ann Adams. Great-grandmother of Selah and Samuel Geddes and Aislinn and Thomas McNair. Sister of the late Dolores Hagerty. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Montgomery Avenue (Rte. 28, exit 6-A just off I-270), Rockville, MD on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD on Saturday, May 3 at 12:30 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, 924 G Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Dearest Family,
May our risen Lord hold you in the palm of His hand during this time of sorrow. Mrs. Jacobs, Mrs. Bernstein and I have fond memories of Shirley at Eden Homes. She was a blessing to us all. She was well loved. God bless each and every one of you.
