TO MY LOVING FAMILY,
I AM SO SORRY FOR US TO LOSE ANOTHER. WE ALL SHARE FOND MEMORIES. LET ME INCLUDE MINE.
IT WAS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST TIMES OF MY LIFE WHEN MY AUNT MARIE (AUNT SHIRLEY'S SISTER) AND MYSELF WENT TO HER PLACE NEAR OCEAN CITY. WE WENT FOR A BOAT RIDE AND WAS ENJOYING IT EVER SO MUCH WHEN SUDDENLY THE STEERING WHEEL OF THE BOAT BROKE OFF COMPLETELY AND HERBERT HANDED IT TO ME...LAUGHING SO HARD I THEN GAVE IT TO MY AUNT MARIE AND SAID "HERE, YOU DRIVE!" SHE STOOD UP WITH IT IN HER HANDS..WE LAUGHED SO HARD WE HAD NO CONCERN ON HOW WE GOT BACK......
WHEN WE FINALLY DID BY STEERING THE COLUMN OF THE BOAT. WE TOLD AUNT SHIRLEY WHAT HAD HAPPENDED...
SHE JUST SHOOK HER HEAD AND SAID..

"ALWAYS SOMETHING."

Shirley was my Aunt. She was the youngest sister of my dad Norris Lowe. Aunt shirely was my favorite aunt and I have such wonderful fond memories of her.

I can't remember any Christmas's with my siblings but I can remember one evening when we lived on 14th street my Aunt Shirely and Uncle Charles came to visit and we were sitting on the couch and Aunt Shirely was peeling and feeding me an organge. When we lived on 14th street, Washington DC I was only 4 or 5 years old. She was so special to me that I can remember that day like it was yesterday. Also, about 8 years ago she bought me the most beautiful dinning room picture. I knew she really could not afford it so that made it even more special. To this day and everyday that picture will always remain in my dinning room. I love you Aunt Shirely and will miss you so much.
Take care of my mom and dad and I will look after Norma Jean.
Love, Helen Davis
