Sol Linowitz Obituary
On Friday, March 18, 2005, SOL M. LINOWITZ of Washington, D.C. Beloved husband of Evelyn Linowitz; devoted father of Anne (Ken) Mozersky, June (Howard Eisner) Linowitz, Jan (Thomas Wadden) Linowitz and Ronni (Rob) Jolles; dear brother of David F. (Dorothy W.), R. Robert (Ada H.) and Harry M. (Judie) Linowes; loving grandfather of eight. Funeral services and interment private. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 1 p.m. at Adas Israel Congregation, Smith Sanctuary, 2850 Quebec St. N.W., Washington, D.C. Shiva will be observed at the home of June and Howard from 3 to 9 p.m. through Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Social Services Agency, 6123 Montrose Rd., Rockville, MD 20852 or to The Inter-American Dialogue, 1121 Connecticut Ave. N.W., Suite 510, Washington, D.C. 20036. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541- 1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Washington).

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Linowitz and all of your family. My son is Bobby Thompson who knows Ronni and knew Sol as well. Bobby trained Sol at his home a number of years ago, and also trained Ronni. Bobby expressed to me that Sol was a really kind and wonderful man, and that my son is really proud that he got to know Sol in this special way.
