Daddy: I want to let you know that I am thinking about you, I keep telling myself (my father, my father, Sonny Duckett) is gone, I just can not believe it. When my friends told me that one of their parents passed on, I never thought that one day I would be saying the same thing. I just can't get you laugh, jokes out of my mind. When I go to the house and walk through the door I immediately look to the right at the table hoping to see you sitting in your breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack chair (lol) Daddy if you were home I know you will be sitting at the table waiting to eat and calling NERVA ha-ha. I am really going to miss you. But to brighten up the day I wouldn't to let you know that you are living on in your crazy son Shawin. He sounds like you, jokes like you, just plain CRAZY. But we all are fine and we know you are fine. Until we meet again. RIP

Ay Pop Pop wassup like dat? I remember you always used to say that to me. Its lil Mel or as you like to call me Pee-wee. I just wanted you to know that I miss u so much and that it's not the same without you. I think about all the good times we had together like riding around all day in your truck, eating all kinds of food that you've cooked, and most of all just being around you. It was hard to see you go because you were the only grandfather I had left. Thats ok though because I know your in a better place now and you are still looking over me as we speak. I said to myself that I was'nt gonna cry so much but when you love someone the way I loved you its hard to keep your word. I jus wanted you to know that I love you and you will be missed. Ps... Say hi to my other grandfather for me and tell him I love him too.

Daddy; I was just sitting reading the entries and i just felt the need to send you another little note letting you know that I am still thinking about you. I still have not came to grips with the fact that you are gone and I won't hear your funny jokes about how much weight i have gained lol. Its so much that I want to say, so much I want to tell you but I know the tears will start flowing. Anyway I just wanted to let you know I am and will always be thinking about you, and I will always have love in my heart just for you. RIP

what's up pop, I just wanted to thank you for being so nice to me and giving me your blessing to marry your baby girl. It's still hard for me to accept that your not here. I miss you and wish you were here to see your Chuckie grow up. Not a day goes by without him asking for you, but I know that you're watching over him. Take care and I will talk to you soon. Donnie

Hi daddy I'm still waiting on you to call me and ask me to make you some of my famous foods that I always made you but every time my phone ring its never you, I kept asking myself why havn't you called me in some time not realizing that you are gone, its so hard for me to understand that you are gone( I just cant except it). I missed you so much that I just cant express how I feel. You were going to walk me down the isle but now I have to do the two step alone. Well I'm always going to be thinking about you and you will always be in my heart. your baby girl, Missy
