Spinard Francis "Alex" Alexander

Alex died peacefully at his home in South Orange, NJ on August 5, 2025. Alex was born in Baltimore, MD on May 10 1993. He spent his early years in Garrett Park, MD and was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. He later completed a degree in Food Marketing at Western Michigan University and worked in many positions in that field in Philadelphia.
Alex is survived by his parents, Patricia Rye and William Spinard; his sister Lily Spinard of Wakefield, RI; his grandmother Doda Rye of Vince, FL and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He had many friends across his lifetime to whom he remained close. Alex was preceded in death by his grandfathers James Rye and Edward Sinpard and grandmother Ann Spinard.
Alex loved many things, he swam with Rockville Mongomery Swim Club and won many awards. He loved good food and always knew which restaurant to go to. He hiked, snowboarded, biked, and surfed.
Alex was cremated and there will be a celebration of his life in Wakefield, RI with family and friends notified of the date and place soon.
Alex, we love you always, no matter what, our beautiful Boy.
