Stan was one of the kindest men I got the honor of knowing. He had a fantastic sense of humor, a brilliant perspective and disposition. He was the kind of person you could easily talk to for hours on end. We were all so lucky to have our lifetimes overlap with his. Much love

Stan was a gentleman, a brainiac, and a little kid all rolled into one. I never heard Stan utter a bad word about anyone. He was always sweet, gracious, and polite. You might not have noticed, at first, his powerful intellect because he was too humble to make sure people knew it. And when it came to his passions like antique cars or his beloved Philadelphia, the enthusiastic child in him emerged. He was fun to be with, to talk to, and to simply be in his warm presence. Above all, he loved Ilene and his family, Jeffery, Andrew and Gabby. It was such a delight to see him interact with children, so when Christina brought the grandkids into his life, he was in his element. It took me about five minutes the first time I met him to know that he completely adored Ilene and was utterly devoted to her. I will miss that-as well as his charm, his humor, his humility, and his luminous energy. While I will always hold his spirit close to my heart, I will miss his hugs, which, everyone knows, made you feel as though he really, really meant it. And he did. Stan, you were one of a kind-the very best kind. xo
