WOW....it's been six years, but it still feels like yesterday. They often say time heals everything, but I'm not sure if that's the case with you. I know you're watching from above...checking out my parental skills (smile). I finally joined that group. When I'm chatting with Michelle B. I stop her sometimes when she says things that remind me of you. Any way just thinking about ya - LOVE and MISSES you soooooo much! Tooya....as you often called me.

Hi Mommy,
I miss you so much, I can't even begin to put it into words how much I miss you. Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to you too. Mommy I have been going through alot. We lost Hugo last saturday night. He was hit by a car. I know he's in heaven with you and you both are having a blast together. I know how much you loved him too. It just hurts so much, I miss his presence in the house. And waking up in the morning and he's not lying in the bed next to me. Now the house is really not the same. With out you and Hugo, you both was so full of life and energy. Mom is doing an awesome job with me and Gregory keeping us up beat and focus on god's blessings. I can go on and on but I'm going to stop here for now. We'll continue this tonight in my prayers. Mommy I love you! I hope that I'm making you proud!

The time is near. As we all know, we are living in the book of Revelations. God is coming back for his people and surely from the the sentiments of all who signed this guestbook, this is one who is with the Lord. So family, I know you have no regrets, I believe she is the Angel that is watching over her family each and everyday. Our Father makes no mistakes. May he keep the family uplifted and I pray for peace in your time of sorrow. I went to Suitland and graduated in 1983. I remembered her name, but could not put a face to it. All in all this is my sister in "Christ" and I pray that the Lord will sustain all that will miss this beautiful being, for God truly loved her best. Hallelujah!! Thank you, Father!!!!!

I am still in shock, pain and disbelief! We all love Stephanie. I just found out and I am very sad that I missed her service. Stephanie and I worked together at NASD and became good friends. I remember watching Sophia grow and the birth of Gregory. I had not seen Stephanie in a while, but she was still my "dawg". I am heartbroken.

God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference. I say this prayer to strengthen my faith, knowing that everything is going to be alright. To my other family, the loss of Steph is overwhelming but God needed her more than us. Although, Steph is not present in the physical, her spirit will forever be present! I'm so honored that I had the opportunity to have shared great times with Steph and felt that dynamic presence that everyone raves about. I'm truly going to miss my sister & friend. When I am feeling nostalgic, I remember that my most cherished childhood days were the ones where the entire family went on vacation together and stayed in those little cottages on Ms. Burton's property. Just a whole mess of cousins playing in the sand, pretending that we knew how to swim, and crabbing off of that rickety pier. It just didn't get any better than that!

From those days until now, the family has always jokingly called me Michelle's twin. I was always a bit skeptical of such a compliment. But if I can ever shine anywhere near as beautifully as Michelle did, I will certainly consider myself fortunate.

We will miss you, Michelle.

I am deeply sadden and heartbroken to hear about Stephanie! I still can’t believe it. I’m at work hearing a friend speak about an ex-co-worker who had passed during the week and when she mentioned her name, something came over me. Stephanie was a beautiful, caring, loving person. I worked with her at Nasdaq (years ago) and would love talking with her, just being around her. After meeting Stephanie, she introduced me to Monica and Monica has been my beautician for years (starting in the kitchen!). I would love going to their apartment, seeing that sisters could live together and get alone. I have never seen mother and daughters so close. Sophia and Gregory, your mother is still with you in spirit and she will always love you. I'm so heartbroken that I missed the service. Stephanie will be missed dearly. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Words can't express the shock and hurt that I feel at this very moment as I listen to a coworker tell me about her sweet and loving ex-coworker who died on Sunday. After she mentioned the name and beautiful eye patches she wore (Steph could always hook it up with style!), I knew instantly--it has to be Stephanie Michelle. I searched the Obtiuary just to see her photo and learn that the services are now as I type. I worked with Stephanie at Nasdaq a few years ago but I was blessed to get to know her as a wonderful friend and mother. Sophia-so beautiful; Greg-so charming. What a loss to all. I'm so-so sorry Monica--I know your "Michelle" is more than a sister-she is your best friend. Deep heartfelt sympathy to you and the whole family.

To Monica and the Broady Family,

I went to school with Stephanie and I still remember her smile and beautiful spirit, this seems truely unreal, I know how you all are feeling, but time will heel your heartache and memories will soon make you smile again oneday.

My prayers are with everyone and May God bless each and everyday for her children.

Stephanie was a wonderful human being. Always had a smile and a kind word. I used to buy christmas cakes and candy from her when we worked together at Swidler Berlin to aid a couple of her charities during that time. She was always pleasant, always adorable. God bless her. She will truly be missed.

Ms. Broady, my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I remember when I first met Michelle and she embrassed me as if she had known me all her life. I don't believe that she ever met a stranger.

Her earthly body may be gone, but take comfort in knowing that her beautiful spirit lives on.

There are no words to describe the beauty and sophistication of Steph. She had a kindness that was immeasurable and an inner beauty that most can only try to achieve. Her style and beauty was one for the New York runways. I only had the privilege of knowing her for two years but her commitment, character, charm, sophistication, and style will forever be with me.

Sophie and Gregory,

Your mom was an exceptional women. She loved you both very much and spoke of you often. Continue to make her proud.

I would like to extend my greatest sympathy to the Broady family, Sophia and Gregory. I worked with Stephanie at Swidler Berlin. Everyday I saw Stephanie she had a wonderful smile on her face. She always had a kind word to say to everyone even when you were down she was there to pick you up. Stay strong "Broady Family".

Sophia and Gregory, you are now your mother's legacy. Remember your mother has just changed her address. She received a call from GOD and he informed her that her new home was complete. She could now move into her brand-new mansion. Her home new is located on an exclusive estate behind a beautiful pearly gate with the streets paved of gold, where there is only peace, joy and perfection, which your mother now has complete perfection because she was perfect here with us. You know GOD didn't give her a telephone number because it would be hard to reach her -- but you know what -- you don't need a number -- read your BIBLE, and you'll find her listed on every page. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH and continue to make your mother very proud.

Stephanie was a wonderful person who always smiled (sometimes a little devilishy), and she was sunshine, an angel on earth, gracious, loving, spiritual and will be remembered by many who will hold her in their hearts. I will miss her so. Sophia and Gregory, she will always watch over you and keep you in God's love.

Stephanie was a gift indeed,
Quick to help in time of need.
Quick to flash her beautiful smile,
Always with love and grace and style.
God loaned her to us for what seems like a minute,
This world is better because she was in it.
He has taken her now to peace and rest,
We love you Steph, but God loves you best.

I had a photo of Stephanie that I wanted to share with her friends and family. She was so photogenic! Stephanie was also very meticulous about detail and design, and she loved to coordinate! This photo was taken after Stephanie trimmed the AM&S Christmas tree in December 2004.

I'm writing this message with a heavy heart not only because I'm saddened by Stephanie's passing, but because of the pages and pages and pages of loving memories others have written. I pray that Stepanie's family will take comfort in knowing that she was not only loved by family and friends, but, as it seems, any and all who had the privilege of seeing that beautiful smile as so many people have fondly expressed. I used to work with Stephanie at Swidler Berlin and I also just ran into her about 3 months ago. As soon as she saw me, I was greeted with that beautiful smile and a big hug. I will cherish that hug forever. Thank you Stephanie. God bless and peace be with you.

My family and myself, would like to extend our condolences during this time. Take all the time you need to heal. Stephanie will never be forgotten, her smile, expression, a fragrance, joke. Hold on to the things most near and dear of her. Things will subside and, although she will continue to be missed terribly, it will in time get easier. Stephanie has a sweet spirit, and now she shares her spirit with the Angels. In time, we will all meet again, and be one within the clouds with Jesus. I will continue to pray for your strength in God, for only He knows what lies ahead. I pray that He will surround you and your family with a healing heart, understanding, and patience, as He continues to hold you close in His heart of protection and love. My love to all. Stephanie will be missed. Her gracious spirit cannot be replaced. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone - no matter how busy she was. She made time for you. Maybe the best way we can honor her memory is to be kind to one another, love one another and recall how well Stephanie treated us.

Ms. Broady, Sophia and Gregory -- I worked with Steph at Swidler & Berlin over 6 years ago. Although we did not keep in touch after my departure, my time shared with her there was truly a blessing. Steph always had a smile and nothing but kind words whenever we spoke. Sophia and Gregory, keep your mom's memory alive by honoring her hopes and dreams, as she always wanted what was best for the both of you! May God bless and keep you all in this time of loss.

Stephanie was truly one of God's angels here on earth. I had the pleasure of knowing her for four years, and she was a wonderful co-worker and an AWESOME friend. God could not have sent me a greater blessing than when he sent her into my life. I still cannot believe she is gone, it seems unreal and nearly impossible. While I will miss her beautiful smile and her encouraging words more than I can say, I know she is with God. I will greatly miss coming in to the office and hearing her bright greeting "Morning sunshine!", hearing her say "I can dig it" and "That's what's up" when we would commiserate with each other about life, and the lunchtime talks we would have everyday. There are so many wonderful things about Stephanie I couldn't possibly recant them all. My deepest sympathy and condolences go to her beloved children, Sophia and Gregory, and to the rest of her family. I love you Stephanie!
