I grew up knowing Stephanie through her brother. I saw her when I went to their house to play basketball with her brother. I also saw her on the school bus each day. She and her siblings were like family to me. I remember her smile and laid back personality. Under that reserved persona was a beautiful woman who loved life, family and God.

Stephanie and I were classmates in highschool and roommates in college. We always exchanged Christmas cards every year. I was thinking about her and was shocked to read about her passing away. She was a kind and caring person. She loved the LORD and her church. She will truly be missed.

I´ve lived at the Residences of Thomas Circle for more than a year. Stephanie was my favorite "server." Her death came as a total shock to me. We teased each other all the time and I kept saying the residents should all take up a collection for a pension so she would not have to work so hard and such long hours. She was remarkably patient and good-humored, but we would roll our eyes at each other sometimes to acknowledge how crazy this place can be. I miss her presence every day and send you my deepest condolences. She was truly a source of delight in my life.
My warmest wishes,

Stephanie will be missed by so many people, but I'm sure she's smiling from heaven because she's resting in peace!

I am in prayer for Stephanie's immediate family and her extended family at Mary's Missionary Baptist Church. Stephanie was such a faithful member who served God, the church, and Pastor Fowler for many years. She will certainly be missed.
