Dear Judy , we were so very sorry to learn of your loss. Although we haven't been in touch recently, we think of your family often and did not know of this tragic loss until we saw it in the Baltimore Jewish Times. Hoping to see you for good things in the future. Susan and Henry Holzman

Dear Mrs. Abrams and the entire Abrams family,
The Clarksburg High School community is deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Mr. Stephen Abrams. Mr. Abrams was always an avid supporter of Clarksburg High School, and we were honored to host him at our inaugural commencement exercises in 2008. We will all remember him fondly for proudly wearing his Clarksburg hat as he traveled through MCPS.
Personally, I feel very fortunate to have known and worked with Mr. Abrams throughout my tenure with MCPS. He always encouraged me to perform at my highest level. It was comforting to know that he was advocating for our school and our entire school system.
Our thoughts are, and will remain, with you during this very difficult time.

It is such a small world, and I don't know if you remember me, but I was speaking with my cousin, Edythe Runnett, when she found out about Stephen. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss.

As a resident of the county and a school system employee, I always felt Mr. Abrams looked out for the best interests of the students and the taxpayers. The school board benefited from his analytical and practical approach to providing the best education possible within the available resources. G-d bless him and give strength to his family.
