Stephen Lokitis Obituary

Stephen Lokitis (66) died on March 23, 2024 at his home in Ellicott City, MD. Born in 1957 in Harrisburg, PA, he grew up in Springfield, VA. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Emily Lokitis. Steve is survived by wife, Barbara; daughters Dana Yasek (Mike), Sarah Kiomall (Brent); grandchildren Oliver, Annabelle, and Lena; his Aunts: Helen Lattanzio, Agnes Thomas, Anna DiFrancesco; sister Marie Lybolt (Harvey, deceased); brother Al (Joan); brother-in-law George Pentland (Carol); nieces Jessica Pentland (Sam), Julie Lokitis (Scott); nephew Greg Lokitis (Megan) and their children Grayson and Bennett, along with an amazing wide circle of friends and family. Steve's resilience and determination to remain independent in the face of his many health challenges was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at GlenMar Church, 4701 New Cut Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043 on April 6, 2024. Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory can be sent to GlenMar Church, Grassroots of Howard County, or Sleep in Heavenly Peace of Howard County.
