Suhas Deshmukh
On Monday, March 20, 2023. Suhas Deshmukh was born on January 8, 1939, in Maharastra, India, the eldest son of Rajeshwar and Tarabai Deshmukh. His family operated a textile mill employing 1500 and established a school, library, and hospital for their community. Suhas joined the business upon graduation from Nagpur University. In 1975, he immigrated to the United States in search of greater opportunities for his family and spent over 30 years at the New York Life Company. He is remembered by, Mrs. Janaki Deshmukh, his loving wife of 57 years, his daughter Manisha Kapani, and their entire family.
Funeral details: Saturday, March 25, 2023, 9 to 10 a.m. family Hindu service, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Eulogies and viewing, at the Robert Pumphrey Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814. Reception to follow at nearby location. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for support of Capital Caring Health who were an incredible source of support for the family in Suhas' final days. http://capitalcaring.org/
