Sylvia Rindskopf Obituary

RINDSKOPF SYLVIA L. RINDSKOPF Sylvia Lubow Rindskopf died at age 92 in Annapolis, Maryland, on March 23, 2010, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of nearly 69 years, Rear Admiral Mike Rindskopf, a granddaughter, Amy Kathryn Rindskopf, and two great-grandsons, Jasper Rindskopf Schultz and Ian Zephyr Schultz. She is also survived by Amy''s mother, Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, a great-nephew, Seth Lahn, and a great-niece, Deena Lahn. Her only child, Peter Eric Rindskopf, pre-deceased her. Funeral services will be private. A reception for friends and family will occur on March 28, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut College, New London, CT. Linda and I were saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. What a wonderful woman she was and we are truly blessed to have known her. She and her family are in our prayers.

My sincerest sympathy. I had a wonderful chat with Sylvia when she and her husband were at a ceremony at the Nautilus Submarine Museum in Groton, Ct. She was a warm and pleasant woman. I have never forgotten the experience. God Bless.
