TAKIYA RENEE THOMAS
Takiya Renee Thomas, also known as "Kiya", age 35 years, of Bowie, Maryland, unexpectantly passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Beloved mother of Dayshawn, Tayvawn, Taliya, and Makayla; daughter of Tonjia Kelly and Anthony Thomas. Granddaughter of Charles Kelly (deceased), and Elsie Kelly. Also survived by seven brothers and sisters, Shaun, Shauniece, Tya, Stefon, Stefonie, Anthony, and Cornelius; uncles, Charles S. Kelly (Jan), Nicholas Jones (Carmen); aunts, Colleen Banks (Derrick); Patricia Lettley and Michelle Mitchell, with dedicated lifelong friends Marquette Randall and Temika Stevenson; another special father Anthony Coward Sr., and another special mother Monica Chestnut and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. On Friday, June 2, 2017 friends may visit with the family from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Community Church, 3636 Dixon Street, Temple Hills, MD, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 with the viewing beginning at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Interment private.
