Hey Tamiwee!!! (in that squeaky voice)

It's so hard to believe it's been 15 years now since you've gone on home to glory with our Lord Jesus. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you in some way or another ... whether through memories of things we did growing up, or talking and sharing with one another. Even sharing the same room. Doing our hair together and dreaming of one day owning our own hair salon....You know, the fun times, plus the not so fun times. Both are just as precious to me today as the other because it was YOU who I'm remembering now from the depths of my heart.

I miss you even not being able to be on social media...that wasn't around when you left here... (Facebook being the only one I'm choosing to be on now -- even though I'll be leaving that soon like dad did a while back because it's not the same as it was before since he's not on there anymore). It's because I know that IF you WERE on there now, I know that you'd be posting all kinds of funny stuff and pictures and you would have everyone of us laughing and enjoying. That's just some things I may think of at times as I post on there myself. I know everyone would love you. So, even though you aren't, we still can hold on to the fond memories we've all shared with you while you were here. And at this point, that is good enough.

We know we will see you again one day in heaven, but I'm grateful that I was your big sis while you were here. I love and miss you still. My heart is glad also that you are at rest with the Lord and probably there giving that wide smile and making others laugh. Tell Granma hello (both of them) ** As we would both say as we walked into granma Bee's home.....GRAAAAAAMA!!! in that squeaky voice too (LOL!!)

So, we will see you on the other side of heaven one day. I'm not sad anymore, because I'm blessed because of the lovely times God did allow us to share while you were here.

HUGS & LUV & Kisses too
Your Big Sis,
(Valyoyee) Lady-Val

I can hardly believe its been already 15 years since my dear Tammie went to her eternal rest. She always spoke to me in a baby-ist voice, called me dadeeeee!! I am so glad that I remember some fun times with her, like playing badminton in the yard at home, and her having fun platting my afro (hair) while I watched TV. It also saddens me more as I re-read the comments to note that about 10 of my friends who commented have also gone on to glory. Life is short and sweet and she enjoyed it her way. Sadly I say, rest in eternal peace Tammie, always love you!!!

To my dear sister Tami, There is so much in life that I will miss talking to you about now that you are not here. But I am glad that your suffering is over and you now have peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.

We may not have said it very much when you were here but I knew you loved me. The last time you said "byeeee" when we last talked was your way of saying it. I Love You too TamiWee! Your Big Brother .

To be touched by the remembrance of a life is to be humbled by our mortality. God's presence thus becomes so palpable. The sharing I have experienced with you, relatives and friends BW, though never meeting Tami, has made me know that I have to love more, laugh more, and be desperate for my Lord. I have been blessed with this opportunity because of your daughter.

I am so sorry I was away when this happened and could not personally offer my heartfelt sympathy for you and your family during this time. I can only imagine the feelings of loss when one loses a child. But I know that because of the kind of man you are and surrounded by the type of family and friends that you are, you will be okay. Perhaps not great...but fine just the same. You will be strong because there are so many of us praying for you Tinker. And if there is anything else, simply say it and if at all possible we will do what we can for you and yours.
