Tammy Lynn Orthman (Age 58)

Tammy L. Orthman, 58, died Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Born in Silver Springs, MD., she had been a resident of Newark, NJ for 40 years. She had attended Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Newark, NJ.

Ms. Orthman is preceded in death by her mother Frances M. Orthman of Hampton, VA. She is survived by her father William J. Orthman and wife, Dorothy, of Spring Hill, FL, and sister Theresa R. Reichert and husband, Kurt, of Spring Hill, FL, and sister Wanda M. Mathews of Tarpon Springs, FL, and brother William S. Orthman of Hampton, VA, and brother Joseph M. Orthman of Richmond, VA. Left to cherish her memory are also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Peter Clem on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Mary, 310 S Royal St., Alexandria, VA 23314. The family will receive friends Friday, Septermber 8, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Demaine's Funeral Home, 520 S Washington Ave., Alexandria, VA 23314.
