Gone But Not Forgotten
its a special world for you and me
a special bond one can not see
it wraps us up in its cacoon
it holds us firmly in its womb
you went alone but it took a while
but before you went you were a good child
when you left you created a star
ill see you again youre not that far
i turned to you when i needed a lift
for our love trogether is a special gift
now im going to end this case
because i know youre in a better place

To My Little Sister Yvonne and Family:
My heart aches for you and your family. I knew how much you loved your little sister and trust me she knew too! Honey, I know the pain is heavy right now, but TRUST in HIM and he will ease the pain. You are not alone, if you need a friend your BIG sister is a phone call away. I love you and I am so proud of you and your little sister was too!

Na’Zyia held a conversation with you yesterday, as if you were still here.
I was suddenly overwhelmed with feelings of despair.
Seven, Naji and Na’Zyia lost the big sister they never had.
I try not to think about you because it makes me very mad.
You had so much to offer and so much to give.
We will never forget you as long as we live.
As I listened to Na’Zyia the feelings suddenly disappeared.
I began to remember all the good times we’ve shared.
Through the eyes of a four year old, you spoke to my soul.
I no longer felt bitter, angry and cold.
Although we may be heavens apart,
You are very much alive in each one of our hearts.
We Love You Tangy! We Miss You So Much. Keep smiling down on us from Heaven.

My prayers and condolences go to Yvonne and her family for the loss of Tanganika. I did not know Tanganika personally, but to have a sister like she had, I am sure she was a blessing to all she met and knew. The first and only time I remember seeing Tangy is when I was dropping Yvonne off at home and Tangy ran downstairs to open the building door for her big sister. She was talking on the phone and was smiling. That is the image I see when I hear Tangy's name. But with God's mercy, we will see Tangy again, and she will be smiling.

Words cannot express how heavy my heart is right now. I was first introduced to Tanganika 4 years ago. Yvonne used to talk so proudly of her little sister Tangy. Tangy was a beautiful young lady with an even beautiful spirit and she will be missed.

To my baby sister....right now I am at a loss for words it's difficult knowing I have to live without you here. You are the best sister, I couldn't have asked GOD to send me anyone better. I am going to miss everything about you. Especially, when you would sit and watch tv with me and ride in the car with me...i look in the rearview and see you in the backseat bopping your head and signing. Your nephew and I miss you terribly. I thank GOD for you and for the opportunity to take care of you. I was so proud of the woman you became and even more proud that I could watch you grow from the precious infant I used to hold. Things will never be the same but I hope you will remember me when I see you in heaven. Your light can never be extinguished.
Love your big sister

It saddens me to hear that a bright light with so much potential was dimmed way too soon. To the family and friends of Tanganika, may God keep His Holy Angels around you and give you strength during your time of bereavement.

This is one of the hardest things that I think I ever had to do. Tangy you blossomed into such a lovely young lady and I could not be more proud. You were the a bright light that shined so that the whole world could see. You left such a whole in my heart until I really didn't know what to think or do. I was suppose to be the rock but I guess sometimes the rock has a day too. Remembering all the times that we did share they are so precious and I hold them near and dear to my heart. Vonne, Tina, Kenny, Kevin and Annie and the family there was not a day you weren't in my prayers and you will forever be. I love you all and Annie you became my grandmother when I needed one. I will forever be grateful because you all were there for me when I needed someone as well. You all know that I am there for you during this hard time. "A family that prays together stays together."
Love Always,

By and by, after the tears have somewhat subsided, after the trials are over, our pain will gradually be overshadowed by the joy that the Lord provided you such a beautiful flower who has gone to be firmly planted in his bouquet. God never makes mistakes, and nothing can happen to us unless it is first sifted through his loving hands. You remain in our prayers.
