On Monday, May 7, 2018, of Washington, DC. Beloved daughter of Sharon J. and Edward V. Jones, Sr.; loving sister of the late Edward V. Jones, Jr.; granddaughter of Emma E. Jones; loving aunt of Jasmine A., Brittney P., Amber-Jane N., and Nyema T. Jones. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd., Clinton, MD on Monday, May 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Tuesday, May 15 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. in the Reid Temple AME Church, 11400 Glenn Dale Blvd., Glenn Dale, MD. Interment on Wednesday, May 16 at 10 a.m. in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.

Ed and Jackie, please know that you and your family are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. Hold the sweet memories of happier days. It's been said we should not count our days, but make our days count, looks like that is exactly what Tara did. I will continue to pray for your strength.

Taras spirit is one that made you feel comfortable and at ease. I always found myself smiling when I saw her across the room at events. I made sure I came over to receive her warmth and kindness.
Her positive energy has not died but has transferred to heaven. What she gave us will NEVER be recalled. She is with all of us.
