Thelma Shuster
Thelma Shuster (nee Gans), of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 91. She is survived by her loving children, Mark Shuster (Nina Blecher), and Dr. Jeri Shuster (Dr. Bruce Rosenblum); grandchildren, Daniel (Autumn) Rosenblum, Erica Rosenblum, Natalie (Bradley) Lugo, and Alana (Andrew) Whipp; and great grandchildren, Abigail Rosenblum, Kaden LeCouter, Sloane Whipp, and Hugh Lugo. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Abraham Shuster, and parents, Charles and Gertrude Gans.
Thelma was known for her love of animals, skilled bridge game, and chicken matzoh ball soup that rivaled the best! Her grandchildren and great children always brought a smile to her face and laughter to her lips.
Services at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, MD 20783, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Congregation Har Tzeon-Agudath Achim, 1840 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD 20902, or to Montgomery County Humane Society, 601 S Stonestreet Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850, or to Temple Isaiah, 12200 Scaggsville Road, Fulton, MD 20759. The family will be mourning at the home of Dr. Jeri Shuster and Dr. Bruce Rosenblum, immediately following interment with a service at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Dear Jeri and Bruce
I was looking for your contact info to respond to your kind comments on Karl´s death and came across this for Jeri´s mom. First, condolences on her passing. I remember her as a kind and gracious hostess when we visited in Ocean City. We will be having a service for Karl in Maryland in October. Please contact me and we can keep in touch. Julie.
