THELMA R. THAW
On Sunday, April 15, 2012, Thelma R. Thaw of Washington, DC. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Blair Alexander Thaw. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Dr. Ben Thaw of Connecticut and a cousin, Mildred Kay and her husband Harry Kay. Also survived by friends, Edith Mechling, Amparo Slaughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Wallace and Michael Seay. There will be a celebration of her life in Washington, DC on May 12 at 4 p.m. Interment private.

We miss you Sandra and are sure your loved ones do also. Una is still living at home, age 98, but we are there to help her stay at home. We remember how lovingly you cared for Blair, and how you also loved living in your own home.

This message is on behalf of Una Flynn, who with her husband Edmund (deceased) were good friends of Blair and Sandra, through photography especially essays, and sailing. Una just learned about Sandra's passing in November. Sandra is very missed.

Sandra and Blair Thaw and I met in St. Moritz in 1946. They became my dearest friends. I miss them both terribly.
