Theodocia Henrietta Newman, born in Washington, DC, December 10, 1953. She made her transition on Sunday November 7, 2021, in Ocean City, MD. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Albert Newman and Marie E. (Thompson) Newman. Her sister Joann Newman preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Joseph A. Newman, Jr. of Arlington, VA; sister-in-law, Deborah Newman; and four nieces, Shivahn Newman Lashay Newman -Dehming, Marcia Newman and Joella Newman. She didn't have any children but there is a soul by the name of Skyler Hamzet that was very dear to her heart and a devoted friend Paulette Lucas.Ms. Newman, graduated from St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC. She worked for The Analytic Sciences Corp (TASC) and supporting various Department of Defense programs. She worked for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Budget/Program Analyst supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. She was a true SiStar of the Order of the Eastern Star. A Member of One God one Thought Center for Better Living 3605 Coronado Rd., Windsor Mill, Maryland 21244.A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10 at 10 A.M. at 3605 Coronado Road Windsor, Mill, MD 21224.
