Ted Cron was a very nice person - he would appreciate that description - and he lived an amazing and multi-faceted life. My warm thoughts go out to Ted's family and especially Suzanne. He was so lucky to have had your loving support during the last years.

I met Ted when I worked with him at NL&A in Chevy Chase. He always entertained us with his sligt smirk, warm eyes, and lovely sketches. I remember taking my first yoga class with him -- what a hoot! My thoughts and prayers are with Ted's family.

One of my first memories of Temple Micah was Ted chanting Kol Nidre, in 1995. At the time I thought to myself, any shul with cantorial talent like this can't be all bad... Over the years I got to know and love Ted and Temple Michah, and feel very lucky. His memory is a blessing.

During the time that he was speechwriter for Surgeon General Koop, Ted Cron was an adjunct professor of Journalism at George Washington University. As a part of Journ-101 and Consumer Writing, he shared philosophies on family relationships, friendship, domestic violence, choice, freedom, tolerance, aging, ethical and meaningful careers, ecology and making a contribution to the world. He showed me how to find meaning in apparent chaos. In the many years since, he’s helped me make direction changes in my life with comments and feedback that were always right on.
The results of his thinking will always be there for me, but one of my best examples of how to “be” is gone and will always be terribly missed.

I didn't know Ted well but always enjoyed him so much -- he was a sweet, funny, bright, engaging person. I'm so sorry about Suzanne's loss...

I met Ted Cron at the Scholarship Luncheon at Brandeis University in Fall 2003. He was such a nice man and so dedicated to his scholarship here. I was so sorry to learn he had ALS. With deepest sympathy to all of his family.
