THOMAS C. CRADDOCK  
Thomas C. Craddock passed on Christmas Day, December 25, 2016 from complications of a stroke. Beloved husband of 66 years to Ann Craddock; father of Linda Keys, Steven, Jeffery (Isabel), Daniel (Carole) and Gregory (Deborah). He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was born in Bassett, VA and as a teenager he joined the US Army for three years. He was an MP and spent a tour in Korea. After his discharge from the service he moved to Northern Virginia. He worked as an Operating Engineer, mechanic, welder, equipment operator. Thomas and Ann loved square dancing, he became a much loved caller for over 25 years.  For many years they traveled the US in search of unique experiences and the joy of nature's wonders. He was an avid golfer and was a volunteer play assistant at Jefferson golf course. He loved gardening and grew anything from flowers to vegetables, and all the while enjoyed playing cards with his friends at their Thursday Poker group. He very much enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Viewing at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203, Thursday, December 29 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service Friday, December 30, at Murphy Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. with burial at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northern Virginia Family Service, www.nvfs.org.
