I worked as a student for Dr. Devine at USDA ARS. He was always kind , considerate and helpful. He helped me more than he could ever know. The world has lost a very fine person. My condolences to his family and friends.

I had the honor of being an intern for Dr. Devine in the summer of 1990 at the USDA. I learned so much during my brief time working with him. He was a unique and inspiring teacher and friend. My thoughts and condolences to his family.
