I am sorry for the very late condolences as I was not aware of Tom's passing. It was only today that I learned of his death and I wanted to send my condolences. Tom was a Board Member of VITA when I worked for the organization and I had the pleasure of working very closely with him for more than 15 years. He was an outstanding board member, always engaged and prepared to help the organization and it staff think through challenging issues and situations and he was a much valued mentor for me personally for the many years that we worked together. I am deeply saddened by his death but grateful that I had the opportunity to work closely with him for so many years and learn so much from him. My deepest condolences to all of you.
