KARDARAS THOMAS M. KARDARAS, JR. (Age 28) Of Annandale, VA on Monday, September 28, 2009 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Beloved son of Thomas M. (Lisa) Kardaras, Sr. and Susan L. Carson. Brother of Rayna Kardaras; grandson of Jeanne A. Kardaras and Teresa Carson. Loving Godson of Mary Ellen Merchant and Ken Kardaras. Friends may call at FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8800 Braddock Rd., Annandale, VA on Saturday, October 3 at 11 a.m. Interment Stonewall Memory Gardens. www.fmfh.com

My brother tried to proctect me when he could, was always there when I was upset and he always made me smile! He had an "aura" about him that made him an angel in my eyes and hoe touched many people, never forgotten big bro, your legacy will live on I LOVE YOU!!

I send my sympathy to Jeanne Kardaras and to Thomas' family. I remember visiting with Thomas Sr. and his wife as well as Thomas at Buzzy Guiffre's funeral in 2004. I have met his aunt and grandmother at other times. I send my sympthy and prayers to the family.

Thomas always had something awesome or positive to say, even when he was being critical - he always pointed out the silver lining in any situation and accepted people for who they were. Sage stuff, and a good example to live by. I'll miss him. My thoughts and condolences to his family and friends.

Thomas had the uncanny ability to make a person smile just by entering a room. His goofy grin and good nature always put me in a good mood. He is already missed. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family. We truly have lost one of the good ones.

Tom and Lisa - My prayers are with you and your family. I know it is hard to let go, but God has plans for Tommy. As we know right now he gave two patients life saving transplants. He will live through them and will always be remembered forever.
