It doesn't seem possible that Tom is
no longer with us. My thoughts are with Louise and Angela and our entire family.

Louise, I will always remember the bike rides that we all took together when you and Tom and me and John frist got married.

And I will always remember Tom as the 15 year old boy I met many, many years ago when he was dating my best friend Gail.

And in heaven he will be forever young!

Louise and Angela - I never expected this. I always thought Tom would outlive me. It is so tragic. I feel so grateful that I was there to share in the beautiful funeral which showed just how much Tom was loved. I had so many good years with Tom and he was a good husband and father. It really touched me last Christmas Eve day when you came to Michelle's and he brought me a bottle of champagne because he knew how much I liked it. That, and your words to me at the viewing mean so much to me. I will keep you and Angela in my prayers and I hope to see you when I return to Virginia.

Michelle, Chris & Melissa - I am so sorry for all the sadness you are going through right now. My heart goes out to all of you. Your dad was such a fun loving person and I always enjoyed being around him when the opportunity came for our visits. I have so many great memories of things we did both in Colorado and Virginia that still make me smile. Hang on to all the good memories you have and it will keep your dad in your hearts forever. Love you guys. Aunt Gail

Tom was a surrogate father to me, having lost my Dad when I was two, Tom played a major part in my life early on, he helped me with homework, took me camping, taught me to fish, got me my first job, taught me the value of hard work, he was such a big presence in my life growing up. I never thanked you for all you did for me and never told you what you meant to me. I hope now you know. God rest your soul.

Sorry that I can't be with your on Monday to celebrate Tommy's life. I cherished our friendship that went back to our days at old fire station one. He was a good fire officer who served his community and was well respected by his peers. Basically, Tommy was good person who will be missed.

I was shocked and saddened to learn that Tom passed away. I have many fond memories of Tom during the formative years of ACFD EMRS when Tom worked on Medic 71. He offered many good suggestions and performed his medic role in an exemplary manner. He was a credit to ACFD and to EMRS.

I pray that our Lord will bless his family with comfort, peace and love.

It's a sad feeling to see this notice. My sympathy to Tommy's loved ones. I can only remember "Tommy Mcglathery" from our Wakefield High School days and his smile - brings a smile to me too. This is just too soon.
