TIMOTHY BOYETTE Obituary
TIMOTHY BERNARD BOYETTE, SR.
Quietly on Friday, August 25, 2017, resident of Upper Marlboro, MD. Beloved husband of the late Janis Boyette; father of Tamia Lampkins, Timothy Jr. (Kayla) and Katie Boyette; son of Sophia Boyette, the late Cleveland Boyette and biological son of James Coley; grandfather of Maya and Miles Lampkins; brother of Melody, Danny, Aubrey, Michael, Milton, Tracey, Kenneth and Cornel. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Rd., Landover, MD on Friday, September 1, where he will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. Interment Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. Services entrusted to J.B. Jenkins, Inc.

To my BFF, Melody and Family, I wish that words could heal, but they are just mere expressions, but God can in due season turn those tears into joy and sweet memories. My heart is heavy for you today. I pray for your comfort and strength. In our conversation the other day, you let me know that it was well with Tim's soul. That is comfort my sister. The Angels are rejoicing. Give my love to Ms. Sophie and the rest of the siblings. I will keep the children lifted up in prayer. God Bless You.

Timmy, Katie We are sad to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a great caretaker of you and Janis. Janis was a true friend to us. We spent many years working together, worshipping, and socializing together. It was my pleasure to help coordinate Tim and Janis's togetherness. Our Father coordinated their coming together now. Although we moved from Maryland, we kept our strong relationship and we all often traveled to fellowship with one another. Timmy/Katie keep up the good. Your Dad gave you his everything. I know you loved Tim, but God loved him best. His journey & purpose has been completed down here on earth. May you find peace knowing that your love one is in the arms of the Lord & is with his beloved wife Janis whom he adored. Tim will be missed by many, however, he will continue to live in our hearts. To his family cherish the memories & know, to be absent from body is to be present with the Lord. Tim's spirit will always be there and never leave you. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

The most precious valuable thing we can have in life are relationships. Relationship with God; relationship with those we love. I am Marianna, Tim's girlfriend. His Aunt Lois, whom I had known since 5th grade, introduced us 2 1/2 years ago. I will hold onto how Tim and I loved one another. I saw and felt how Tim trusted and appreciated me. I thank God for the time we had
together. I am grateful to God for the man he was as he often
shared with me fond memories about Janis. He treated me just as
well. Love and a happy family doesn't just happen. Its shaped over the years by those who go out of their way to make it a warm and loving place to be. Tim did just that. Tim, I love you. Rest now.

Both Sam and I are so deeply saddened by the news of Tim's passing. Both Tim & Janis were great neighbors, of which we kept in touch with after their moving from Elkton. Tim acknowledged that it was hard without Janis, but we believed he would eventually get pass the pain, and evidently Janis knew him best and tried holding on for both he and her.
