TIMOTHY ELLIOTT
Of Washington, DC on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. A man of the community who taught in DC Public Schools for over 31 years. A 1967 graduate of Cardozo High School and a 1972 graduate of D.C. Teachers College. Left to hold in love and memory are his two siblings Ronald Jackson and Alfredia Rich-Murphy; two nephews Donal Omari Ware (Kimberly) and Alonzo Watts; three nieces Karimah Ware Edwards (Stephen), Ashlei Murphy, and Chastity Waddleton (George); four great-nephews and four great-nieces. On Monday, October 9, 2023 friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. at Israel Baptist Church, 1251 Saratoga Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20018. Interment George Washington Cemetery. Send condolences to

I taught with Mr. Elliott at Ballou HS for decades. I started a few years before he did and retired a few years before he did. I remember him as a quiet, hardworking, dedicated teacher. It is sad when you lose one of your work family members. He begins his fourth phase of his life: childhood, school, work and now the next life. I wish him well.
