Vanessa Pham Obituary
PHAM VANESSA PHAM January 22, 1991 - June 27, 2010 Vanessa was born January 22, 1991 in Fairfax, Virginia, the daughter of Julie Pham. Vanessa grew up in Fairfax and Vienna, VA attending Marshall Road Elementary and Thoreau Middle School. She graduated from James Madison High School in 2009, where she received a Distinguished Senior Award for outstanding achievement in fine arts. Vanessa had just completed her freshman year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Vanessa is survived by her mother, Julie; her maternal grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a vibrant, loving and devoted daughter and friend. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at National Memorial Park - King David Memorial Garden, 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 7 at 10:30 am at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St NE. Interment at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Vanessa Pham Memorial Fund, PO Box 3100, Merrifield, VA 22119-3100.

Hello Vanessa. Remember me? We were in 2D Design together, before I left SCAD. We've talked a few times and we hung out in the hall once. Your art was beautiful, and so were you. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to your service, and I'm sorry I won't be seeing you the next time I visit SCAD. Rest in peace.

Dearest Vanessa, you will always be in my heart and I will never forget all of the times we shared. We started hanging out more towards the end of the school year, and I am so glad that I got to spend my last moments at SCAD with you. You were so nice to me and brought so much joy and confidence to my life. God bless. I love you.
