I grew up playing sports with Victor. He was a great athlete and friend. I first met him at Hardy Playground.
Victor loved music and live music shows. He had a great autograph collection of film stars, musicians, and sports stars.
R.I.P. Victor, you are missed.
My condolences to the Silva family.

Victor taught me more about music than anyone. We listened to music and he was a funny and kind friend. He took me to the Newport Jazz and Blues festival on year and got me through some dark times. I haven't seen him in many years. RIP gentle friend.

Rest in Peace Victor "Señor" Silva. We were often mistaken for brothers and felt like we really were. Wish I had heard in time to attend the service. Great baseball & softball player and all around athlete. Rich "Rebs" Rebbert.

Wishing Mario and all the Silvas peace and comfort. Victor was a large presence in the Palisades / Hardy world. I'm sorry I missed the service at OLV but just heard the sad news.

Victor's nickname was Vic the Stick as he was a tough out at the plate. I will miss greatly going to his home to have dinner and watch a World Series game. Vic was a good friend and a generous person. I cherish the times as his teammate in baseball and when he was an assistant coach for me. His insight of the game of baseball helped me to be a better coach. Victor is now safe at home in the Ballpark of Paradise.
My God Bless his family.
Rest in Peace my friend.

My earliest memories of Victor were riding with him on the back of the newspaper truck. A good friend at St.Johns and a great baseball player for Poor Roberts Baseball team, made up of alum from SJC. God Bless

Victor was always a level headed one heck of a nice guy. His skill with a bat, baseball or softball, were second to none. Too young brother, way too young. RIP Victor.

I certainly remember Victor from the Palisades Playground area. We both had a love for baseball as did his younger brother Mario. Softball was an extension of that. My sincere condolences to Mario and the rest of his family and friends. RIP Victor ...
