VINCENT RICUCCI
On Monday, November 6, 2006 of Silver Spring, MD. Loving husband of 58 years of Alice T. Ricucci. Beloved father of Ronald A. Ricucci (Donna), Thomas V. Ricucci, and Brenda K. Kehr (Stuart). Grandfather of Bradford, Matthew, and Kristin. Great grandfather of Brendan. Brother of Connie Clayton, Frank Ricucci, and the late Dominic, Joseph, Genaro, Ralph Ricucci and Lucretia Robinson. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave. (Rt. 28, just off I-270, exit 6A) Rockville, MD on Thursday, November 9 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 S. Leisure World Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Friday, November 10 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Please view and sign the family guestbook at www.pumphreyfuneralhome.com

I have many fond memories of Mr. Ricucci, the smell of his meatballs cooking on Sundays(and Brenda & I sneaking one when he wasn't looking), the Saturday trips to the grocery store, Montrose Church on Wednesday night and my father and brothers getting the hair cut in the basement, are just a few. Mr. Ricucci was a good man, lead a good life and I will always remember him and his smile.

So sorry for your loss.Uncle Vince always seemed to be the life of the party and never failed to interject a little levity when needed. I'll never forget, and will always be grateful for, all of the time he spent with daddy in the last months of his life. Both of them are in a better place now.

I guess it's a sign of age when you log on here to sign the guestbook of a friend that has suffered a loss and see another familiar name. Ron: so sorry to hear about your Dad. Although we have lost touch with each other, I remember fondly dinners and Redskin games and think of you often. In fact, your daughter-in-law was my wife's nurse at Shady Grove when our little girl was born four years ago.

Vince has been a second Dad to me for as long as I can remember, and I will miss his smile and happy nature, as well as so many other things.
