Virginia Hampton Obituary

Hampton

Virginia Hampton "Ginny"

It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia "Ginny" Hampton announces her passing on September 16, 2022, at the age of 75. She was the beloved daughter of Carl and Kathleen Burrows, loving wife of the late Ken Hampton, sister of John (Nita) Burrows, Elizabeth (late Tom) Collins, Robert (Alisa) Burrows and Cindy (Jeff) Bell, aunt of Jack, late Brad and Michelle Burrows, Tom and Keith Collins James and Marian Burrows and Robert and Michael Bell and friend to many.

A longtime resident of Edgewater, Maryland, an avid baker, reader of books and advocate of self-sufficiency, she brightened the lives of all who knew her and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.

I just visited Ginny at her home a couple of months ago and she was, as usual, delightful. We had a great conversation; happy, funny, lovingly. We will miss you. Love Tom and Marg Gazda (cousin)

I will always remember Ginny as having a very warm caring heart and very gentle spirit. The world is a little less brighter with out her. Praying that you are now surrounded by those who love. Safe journey Ginny.
