On Monday, October 6, 2003 at her residence. WANDA D. PETERSON-WANZER, wife of Cochise Wanzer; daughter of William Peterson Jr. and Arita Cruz; mother of Chanise, Arita, and Cochise Wanzer II; sister of Larry, Daniel, and Kirk Peterson. Also survived by one grandson, one daughter-in-law, six sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, stepfather Pedro Cruz, father-in-law James Wanzer Sr., mother-in-law Barbara Benthall, numerous other relatives and friends. The late Mrs. Peterson-Wanzer will lie in state on Tuesday, October 14, at Calloway United Methodist Church, 5000 Lee Hwy., Arlington, VA from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Carroll Carter, Pastor. Interment Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all contributions to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
