Even to his 60s, he had enjoyed playing in the neighborhood basketball pick-up games. After retirement, Wen-Yuan became a volunteer landscaper for the South Run Recreation Center in Springfield. Wen was a great colleague and friend. We were the same age and enjoyed each others company over the years. He was a serious and dedicated professional.Unfortunately it has been too long since I last saw him and I didn't know he had retired. His passing is indeed sad news.
