WILLIAM BEARDOW (Age 92) "Bill"
Died peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving children: Lesley Beardow, Hazel Bailey, William Beardow, and Terence Beardow. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Caroline Bailey, Catherine Brumley, and Richard Bailey, as well as two great-grandchildren, Hope and Faith. His wife Kathleen Beardow, nee Whelan, died in 2009. Born in Derbyshire, England, he served in the British Army's Sherwood Foresters and then went into business in Derbyshire and then, after moving to the United States, in the Falls Church community. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sills Beardow and Hannah Beardow, nee Robinson, and also by his five brothers and sisters: Martha, Susan, Raymond, Jack, and Rosa. Arrangements by Advent Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA.
