JEFFERS WILLIAM J. JEFFERS Funeral Director On Friday, March 27, 2009, in Washington, DC. The beloved husband of Rosa A. Jeffers and loving father of Janie L. Jeffers, Sondra L. Hunt and the late William Jeffers, Jr. and Anthony A. Jeffers, Sr. He is survived by four brothers and one sister, one aunt, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Epsilon Nu Delta services, Friday night, 7:30 p.m. at HORTON''S FUNERAL HOME, 600 Kennedy St. NW. Services will be held at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, 1630 Vermont Ave., NW, Washington, DC on Saturday, April 4, 2009. Viewing 9 a.m. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m. Rev. Cornelius Wheeler, Pastor. Interment Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by HORTON''S FUNERAL HOME.

A mentor and friend;a God-fearing man, a public severant in the stature of a Funeral Director with integrety and great moral character. An organizational minded professional dedicated to the oversight and good health of our profession during his entire career. As an aspiring Funeral Director, Mr. Jeffers was always an inspiration to me and his memory will represent an eternal model. Mr Jeffers, a kind man that loved his family.
