Bill was one of my absolute favorite people at Datatel. I always felt like he genuinely respected me, even though I came in knowing nothing about the software or the industry. He was so kind and patient, and he will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to all of Bill's family. May you find peace in knowing how loved he was by all.

I met Bill in 2002 when I interviewed for a sales position at Datatel. I knew nothing of the higher education industry, yet he took a chance on me. Over the next few years he became the best boss in my entire professional career. He was concerned & supportive, challenging on important items, but always made sure I was comfortable with the decisions we made together. I can easily say he was a key person in helping me develop professionally. In the long run we remained friends. That was his personal gift to me.

Julie, he will be missed by everyone who knew him, and sorely missed by everyone he loved.
