Dear Joan, Hal and Family, We were shocked and heart sick to hear about Billy. He had such a passion for athletics and played with true sportmanship. We are grateful for the influence he had on our kids. Our love and prayers are with you all. We have asked that a Mass be said for Bill at St. James in Falls Church, on November 9, 2006 at Noon.

Hi -
I just wanted to say I'm deeply saddened by this news. Football games in the Raffa's backyard off of Evers Drive and the full court basketball games at the house off Old Dominion were some of my happiest memories as a kid and Billy made those happen.
Very very sorry to hear about this.
My best to the Raffa family.
