Dear Al & Barbara: You raised a fine, precious young man and my heart is so heavy for you. My prayers continue to be with you that your fondest, happiest memories of Will permeate your heart and soul and comfort you, as he always lives through and with you. Although I'm out of town, Chris said the service was beautiful.

Craig, our son & brother, was buddies with Will at Churchill Road School, Cooper Middle School and Langley High School, on the soccer fields and basketball courts of McLean Youth Sports. Al and Barb were sometimes sidelines parents with us but, more often, coaching and reffing as part of the games. Will was a great defender on our MYS soccer team. Bill (the coach) remembers trying to dribble past him in a scrimmage, but was foiled every time. Will had such a talent for the beautiful game!
We will always remember with fondness those wonderful days and know that Will shall live on in our hearts. The Whitesells - Craig, Bill, Dale & Lily

Dear Barb & Al,
May God bless you and comfort you with the wealth of happy memories (enhanced with great photography) of the times you shared with William. You were the best parents a son could ever have and he knew it. I'm sure he will be watching down on you both and communicating his love often. You're the best!
Love,
John & Mary

Al and Barbara, our hearts go out to you and your family at this sad time. We'll always remember Will as an integral part of the McLean soccer family and Al's high school referee group as well as Alex's best friend, Lauren William's first boyfriend. Langley class of 2005 has lost a bright light and a courageous young man.
