To Lamont and family I was very sorry to hear of Evette's passing. Evette was a beautiful person who helped me in my time of need. I pray that God continues to bless and confort you and the kids. Evette I know is in heaven and she is you guardian angel and she will watch over you and the kids. I thank GOD that I had the pleasure of knowing an angel like Evette.

Knowing that Yvette was a SAVED, born again Christian, gives me mixed feelings about her passing. I'm so happy because she'll be in Heaven with our Lord because scripture promises us "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". She will no suffer and no longer be in pain. However, I'm sadden because we all will miss her physical presence with us here on earth. Yvette, despite her cancer, continued to give God the Glory and evlevate his name. We should all take lessons from her. May the Lord embrace the Tate family and give you comfort during this difficult period.

Robert may you and your lovely children find peace in knowing that God has special plans for special people. Yvette was truly a special person and made a lasting impression in my life. She made my stressful days less stressful and may happy days very happy. Her playful spirit always preceeded the room before she did. I will always consider her my buddy, my confidiant and my friend! I will miss her but love her forever. Heaven has a new angel.

May the arms of the lord wrap you in his grace. May he free you from your worldly pains.

May those you touched in your professional career find their religious faith a source of renewed hope and resolve to reject the ways of hatred and violence.

May those you touched in your personal life who are grieving the loss of your presence be prompted by the Holy Spirit to have an ever closer union with the Lord Jesus Christ in the mystery of His cross and resurrection.

The memories we shared as children and teenagers will forever be etched in my memories. I will always love you and hold the memory of your spirit close to my heart.

My heart goes out to the family, especially Robert, who loved his wife with all his heart. Family and friends, remember these words of comfort: You weep because of death. Death is a cruel word; Yvette can never die. She had a task assigned to do in garb of flesh; she came; she did her work, and laid the flesh aside; she didn't need it anymore. Beyond our human sight she has more work to do in another place where she will attain the crown of perfect life. Remember all the joy Yvette passed on to all of us in this life. Remember Yvette and all that she did, and in doing so, Yvette will live forever in all our hearts. Rest assure that she's at peace now with a new and much better life than we know here. Thank you God for sharing her with us.
