Although I didn't get to know the entire family while growing up in the Marine Corps, I am positive that the Millers were very high on my parents' list of friends. Tom and Ida Mai once showed Art's sisters a very nice time, both on their boat and plane. Because neither of them were able to attend my father's send off, it will be an honor and a privilege to attend theirs. They will be missed and remembered as fine examples of a terrific lady and her outstanding Marine.

Here's to our many years of a close friendship with Ida Mai and Tom Miller. We were parents at the same time and unfortunately were not stationed near each other throughout the years, but friends like that never stop being friends! I even walked the dog when their yacht was anchored in New Bern one time and Ida Mai couldn't get off the boat. We are sad to lose such great friends.
